Seranova vs Qure: How the Two Compare - Seranova

Here's a straight comparison. Everything below about Qure comes from Qure's own website, with the links at the end, and everything about Seranova comes from us.

The short answer

The two systems have a lot in common. Both are used once every two weeks. Both use single-use heads and sealed single-use serum doses. Both sell two formulas, one for the look of lines and one for the look of dark spots. Both come with a 90-day money-back guarantee.

Before you use either one

Both brands publish guidance on when to hold off. Seranova's names rosacea, eczema and active acne, recommends a patch test first, and says to wait at least two weeks after cosmetic injections. Read whichever brand's guidance applies to the system you buy.

Whichever you choose, if you're pregnant or breastfeeding, scar easily, react to metals or have a skin condition, speak with a qualified skincare professional before using any at-home device.

Where Seranova is different

Seranova has a 12-week study on the system itself. It was run in an independent laboratory across 29 subjects, in two reports on one group: measured results, and tolerance assessed under dermatologist and ophthalmologist supervision.

In a 12-week clinical study, the system was clinically shown to visibly firm skin in 93% of users after 12 weeks, and it reduced the appearance of wrinkles in 72% of users, improved skin density in 69% of users and visibly improved skin smoothness in 66% of users, with visible skin improvement captured in clinical photography in 45% of users at 12 weeks. Tolerance was rated Excellent, with zero adverse events across all 29 subjects. Full reports are available on request.

Qure publishes a 30-participant user study reporting how people felt after six sessions, plus a 31-subject tolerance evaluation across Fitzpatrick types I to VI with no adverse reactions reported. Both sample sizes are small, and neither brand publishes a placebo-controlled trial.

A fresh head for every session, which comes down to hygiene.

Every Seranova kit includes as many single-use heads as sessions: two heads for two sessions, six for six. So every session starts with a fresh sterile head, and the serum comes sealed in its own single-use vial, so nothing is decanted or reused.

Your chest and around your mouth is included.

Seranova is for use on your face, neck, around your mouth and chest. Qure does cover the under-eye area up to the orbital bone, where Seranova asks you to stay about 1.5 inches clear of your eyes.

A formula made for melanin-rich skin.

The Micro Infusion Pigmentation System™ For Melanin-Rich Skin is formulated specifically for it, with tranexamic acid, alpha-arbutin, bakuchiol and niacinamide, and it can be used on your underarms, inner thighs, bikini line, back, hands and arms as well as your face.

Seranova is multi award winning. Six wins and independent testing, all of which you can verify:

  • Good Housekeeping Institute Believe in Beauty Awards 2026, Best At-Home Microneedling Device
  • Arte of Beauty Awards 2026, two Platinums, for Best Beauty Kit/Tool and Best Anti-Aging Product
  • Attracta Beauty Awards 2026, Best At-Home Professional Device
  • Skin Anarchy Top Picks 2026, Longevity winner, and Best Product for the Pigmentation System
  • Tatler Best of Beauty Awards 2025, Best in Mature Skin
  • Marie Claire UK Skin Awards 2025, Best Innovation: At Home Treatment

Dermatest also graded the system Excellent in June 2025, and seven board-certified dermatologists are named on seranova.com with credentials you can look up.

A guarantee with no photography requirement.

Both brands offer 90 days. Seranova's is straightforward: use it for 90 days, and if you don't see visible results, we refund you. Qure's published terms require before-and-after photographic evidence. Read both sets of terms before you decide, because that is what you would actually be relying on.

What neither brand can show you

No study compares the two systems directly, and no independent study has compared them. Seranova's study tells you what happened to 29 people using Seranova for twelve weeks. It doesn't tell you how Seranova performs against Qure.

Our customer survey is separate, and it's softer evidence: 80% reported firmer skin, 78% said their skin looked visibly younger, 82% experienced no pain and 80% noticed more radiant skin after use. Based on a self-reported survey of 282 Seranova customers. Those are customers describing their own skin, so the study is the stronger of the two.

Conclusion

Of the two, Seranova is the one with a 12-week study on the system itself, and you can ask to see the reports. You also get a fresh sterile head for every session with nothing reused, around your mouth area and chest are included, and the option of a formula made for melanin-rich skin.

It has six award wins, a Dermatest grade of Excellent, and seven board-certified dermatologists named on seranova.com. On subscription at the three-month tier it works out at $21.00 a session, the cheapest per session of any tier either brand publishes.
